The Yatterman comparison actually isn't quite correct. The German release I have is missing the post-ending sequence (or tag) of the original Japanese version.

The film originally ends with a 45 second "preview" of "the next episode" (at 1:50) before showing a black copyright screen.

This segment is missing from the German Blu-ray.
