Breaking Bad: Season 3? DONE

I've researched about specs for the season sets of "Breaking Bad", but got stuck on season 3.

I own the US season 3 Blu-ray set. On the rear cover it mentions "Over 10 hours of addicting extras and commentaries" and "commentary on 9 episodes".
While trying to find specs of non-US Blu-ray releases, the UK, German, Spanish, French, etc the rear covers say "Over 3 hours of addictive extras" and "commentary on 5 episodes".

There were rumors on Blu-ray.com and other sites that the non-US releases had fewer extras, censored episodes, and less extras, although I couldn't find concrete info from any owners of the set.

But when the complete series set was released, UK owners stated all the commentaries and extras from the US set were included on the UK set. So were the complete set discs different from the individual season sets?

I asked Sony Home Entertainment UK directly and after about 2 weeks of researching, they answered back:

Hello again,
Sorry for the delay in answering, our team had to check our products database.
We’re happy to confirm that the discs in the individual S3 Blu-ray and the discs in the Complete Series box set (in the UK) are the exact same ones, with the same content.
They include the 13 uncut episodes as well as commentaries for nine episodes.
The available audio and subtitles are the following:
• Audio = English, French, German
• Subtitles = English, Arabic, French, German, Turkish

So that's the word from Sony, but if anyone can confirm otherwise, it would be helpful.

So far it is confirmed that the Season 4 non-US individual seasons had no commentaries, while the complete series added all the commentaries to the season 4 discs.

Thanks. I also know the Australian disc says the same thing on the back as the UK release, with "5 commentaries", but Sony UK is claiming the cover is wrong...

Usually tv sets are pretty much identical. My friend has Scandinavian sets of Breaking Bad, let's see what I can do.

Australian all-region Season 3 original release is 100% identical to the US specs. Same subtitles, includes all audio commentaries. The back cover has incorrect specs (says only 5 commentaries and 3 hours of extras). I doubt it's censored either, it has an MA rating, the TV-14 version would probably only get an M rating.

Also, my Australian Season 4 individual release has the commentaries, they're just not listed on the back cover. Unless Sony changed the discs on the quiet at some point, that's possible since I bought all my copies sometime between the release of Seasons 5.1 and 5.2, but otherwise the current info is inaccurate. The language options for S4 are the same as what's already listed but it has all the same extras as the US and Complete Series versions.

Thanks for checking, that is odd... the German season 4 release is confirmed to not have the commentaries, so why is Australia getting them? Sony is not making this easy.
Well, just get the US release and a region free player to avoid the headaches...

Australian Season 4 release is A/B anyway. The others are all-region except 5.2 is also A/B.

I can assure you there are no commentaries missing from the UK Blu-rays. I don't have them to hand right now but I know one of them (I assume season 3) listed the wrong number of them on the packaging but I personally checked and they're all there. Purchase with assurance.

Just to be certain, if you can list out the contents of season 3 it would be helpful to enter in the database (like you did for the Walking Dead S5)
