- R0 DC offers the preferred version of Jess Franco uncut, with a proper transfer and the best set of extra-features.
- R0 X-Rated "French version" includes X-rated scenes which were not made by Franco (the shorter version is the "Directors Cut") and it's English-friendly.
GENERAL NOTES:
The film exists in a number of versions:
- The so-called director's cut (on disc one of the Blue Underground set), which is actually the X-rated American version with some footage added from the West German version by Blue Underground;
- the X-rated American version;
- The Spanish version (99 Mujeres); a differently edited version with none of the sexually explicit material.
- The 1974 French hardcore version which adds just over eight minutes of hard material shot by Claude Sendron (on disc two of the Blue Underground set).
- The U.S. TV version which contains an expansion of Zoie's flashback scene shot in the USA by Don Hulette (this material is in the deleted scenes section of disc one).
- The West German theatrical version (~94 minutes). -
