OVERALL: Draw
The Arrow releases are uncut with both Italian (with optional English subtitles) and English audio plus the best extras. The Arrow runs 105:06 with extended exit music (the image fades out at 102:28).
Do note, the Italian edition has an exclusive interview, but the release is not English friendly and one scene is missing from the movie even though it is offered in the extras.
Three versions exist:
- The old master version without exit music (102 minutes NTSC = 98 minutes PAL)
- The botched German restoration which failed to remove extra frames at every splice point on the original negative, requiring cuts on the soundtrack at every shot change to remain in sync (108 minutes NTSC = 104 minutes PAL)
- The Arrow restoration runs with extended exit music. The image fades out at 102:28 in line with the older master (105 minutes NTSC = 101 minutes PAL). -
CUTS:
- R0 America- Anchor Bay Entertainment - No cuts - Old Master Version (102:27 NTSC)
- R0 America- Blue Underground - No cuts - Old Master Version (102:27 NTSC)
