OVERALL: Draw
Only minor language differences.
This film *seems* to exists in three versions:
(1.) The original premiere version of the film and Boorman's director's cut (118 minutes NTSC = 113 minutes PAL).
(2.) The recut version done by John Boorman the day after the premiere and supposedly released in the USA theatrically. It is reputed to have turned up on Japanese home video but has yet to surface on DVD or BD. It may not exist and may in fact be typo for the third version (110 minutes NTSC = 106 minutes PAL).
(3.) An even shorter, also differently edited version that is referred to as the international theatrical version or the home video version, but was certified by the BBFC in 1977 (103 minutes NTSC = 99 minutes PAL). -

- R1 America- Warner Home Video - No cuts - Original premiere version (117:32 NTSC)
- R2 Germany- Warner Home Video - No cuts - Original premiere version (112:51 PAL)
- R2 Japan- Warner Home Video - No cuts - Original premiere version (112:51 PAL)
