OVERALL: Draw
The Flicker Alley release has a longer version of the film with some exclusive extras and a new score.
The Kino Lorber releases have a slightly shorter version of the film with some differing exclusive extras and the original score.
General notes:
The film's original cut ran more than six hours (approximately 384 minutes). It premiered at 3 1/2 hours and was cut down to 2 1/2 hours for general release. There also exists a 73 minute version. The first restoration in 1972 (combining Italian and American elements) ran two hours. -
