In my last post a couple of days ago I was hoping that Revenge of the Ninja would be released. Now my wish will be fulfilled...
"Kino Lorber have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray Sam Firstenberg's Revenge of the Ninja (1983), starring Shô Kosugi, Keith Vitali, Virgil Frye, Kane Kosugi, and Professor Toru Tanaka. The release is scheduled to arrive on the market in May. Special Features include a brand new introduction and audio commentary by director Sam Firstenberg." (bluray.com)
Also some blu-rays from Olive Films March release:
Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold (1986)
- The sequel to King Solomon's Mines (1985), both of which are mindless fun. The best thing about both of the films is the uplifting original score by Jerry Goldsmith - Quatermain March, which I can still hum at the moment!
Best Seller (1987)
- James Woods, Brian Dennehy, director John Flynn.

To those who missed buying (like I did) the limited Austrian mediabook blu-ray edition of Leon aka A.W.O.L. aka Lionheart aka Wrong Bet, one of Jean Claude Van Damme's finest movies, you have another chance of adding it to your collection.
If you love collecting your favorite movies in limited edition blu-rays with original posters, the German Platinum Cult Edition blu-ray cover that is being prepped will not appeal to your eyes. But, the good news is that the film will be the Director's Cut
Just realized that it's the 25th Anniversary of the film. How time flies!

It transpires that Kino plan to release 120 MGM titles from the 60s onwards on to Blu-ray in their new deal. Holy crap.
I wish the likes of Warner would allow this independent companies to license their movies. MGM titles are being released by so many companies, and usually in great fashion.
On another MGM note, Twilight Time are releasing Mississippi Burning.
