I now own the UK release & can confirm Dean Martin's double ear-clap to one of Nigel Green's henchmen near the end, has been restored at a 'PG'.

Been busy at the minute but will add asap thanks.

Is the UK Blu-ray version of THE WRECKING CREW now definitely uncut ?. The 1990's video submission lost around 6 seconds due to a double earclap during a fight near the end of the film (Can't remember offhand where without checking). Despite supposedly being a category cut for a 'PG', even '18 ...

1) Different music to original Sony S.E DVD release is around 70:07
2) The Missing "Thank You!" translated on the the Italian/Spanish audio tracks but missing on the English track is around 96:18. This is on the TV ...

As I expected totally uncut. BBFC cuts waived and chicken decapitation intact.

I contact them every few weeks for cuts info, and luckily I compiled a huge list of films to work from.

The film has been resubmitted and downgraded to a '15' . No mention of cuts being waived, but the description mentions stuff previously cut. The website is still a mess, as the VHS entry as STRIKING BACK no longer lists the film as being cut, though it was.

I have the Blu-ray arriving in the next few days if you wait.

I was basically saying the BBFC would have no issues whatsoever with the film now, so it should be uncut. The cuts info was for the old Columbia video release.

The UK video was cut by about 48 seconds but the BBFC would have no issues now. The decapitation of a chicken would be deemed a ' quick kill' normally as the act would not cause the bird to suffer. The beheading of a snake was passed in the original Friday 13th movie for similar reasons. The ...

By the way, I wasn't expecting you to include all the notes about the 24fps -> 30fps conversion! It might be that this is standard for 30fps discs, I just don't know enough about them to be sure.

Barbara Woodhouse could've retrained all the poor dogs MP Bill Bright claimed were corrupted by video nasties!.

Now finished & english soundtrack has been added to the main film extended version (FUNERAL HOME). My copy arrived today.
